Criteria, which must be met by applicants, are as follows:

Ø  African American Female, age 21 & older

Ø  Evidence of good citizenship and communty service

Ø  Identification of educational program or activity for which the $1,000 scholarship will be used

 The applicant must:

1.   Complete the online or PDF application

 2.   Submit a personal statement explaining her interests, experiences, need for the scholarship, and evidence of community activities/services either online or mail to the PO Box shown below

 3.   Submit one letter of recommendation either online or mail to the PO Box shown below

 4.   If selected as a finalist, be available for a virtual interview, which will be scheduled between May 4 – May 11, 2024

 The scholarship application, personal statement and letter of recommendation must be sent to the Scholarship Committee by April 22, 2024 or postmarked no later than April 22, 2024.
