Bio:
Native of Hampton, Virginia. Matriculated at University of Buffalo and received both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, met my husband, Leon, there who received his Master’s and Doctorate degrees. Proud of three adult children, Celia graduate of Hampton University, Leon, Jr. graduate of Howard and Harvard Universities, Tanya graduate of SUNY Geneseo and Columbia Universities. They are serving their communities in numerous ways. Grateful to be honored with numerous awards for my service to the community, including National and New York State Community Leader of the Year, and humbled for experiences in Linkdom including chair of a chapter drug program: Project LEAD: High Expectations where Buffalo (NY) Chapter received 1st Place National Award..
